In a unanimous decision, the Barnstormer Bucks have named rookie point guard Cameron Payne as their Rookie of the Year.
The 6'2" point guard out of Murray State averaged 18.3 points and 5.8 assists per game in his first season in the NBA.
"Cameron has been a great asset to our team this year," said Bucks head coach Jason Kidd. "He has shown tremendous potential and I believe he will only continue to improve in the years to come."
Payne was drafted 14th overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2015 NBA draft, but was traded to the Bucks in February of this year.
Bucks General Manager John Hammond praised Payne for his work ethic and commitment to improvement.
"Cameron is a passionate player who works extremely hard on his game both during games and in practice," said Hammond. "He is a talented young player with a bright future ahead of him."
